Home Visits

If possible we ask that you call before 10.30am to request a home visit.

Home visits are for patients who are too ill to physically get to surgery.  They are not for those who have difficulty with transport. In general we do not visit children at home, as it is quicker for you to bring them to us and then onwards to the hospital if necessary.
Please inform the receptionist of your symptoms, in order for the GP to determine the priority & timing of visits.
Routine visits are usually made between 12.30 - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday (except bank holidays).
It is not possible to request a doctor of your choice for home visits.

Please remember that several patients can be seen at the surgery in the time it takes to make one home visit, so please do not ask the doctor to make a home visit if you are able to come to the surgery.
