We are aware of rumours circulating within the Melbourne community that the surgery is never going to re-open. We would like to reassure you that there are no plans to close Melbourne surgery. There continues to be GP presence at the Melbourne surgery and has been throughout the whole of COVID. The GP’s are able to do video consults, and if needs be can arrange to see patients at the surgery. However, all initial contact has to be done by calling the surgery on 01332 862124. Patients are reminded that they should only attend either surgery if they have been asked to so by a clinician or if they have paperwork to collect. There is no appointment booking facility at Melbourne. We ask that you only attend the surgery at your appointment time as we do not have the space to have a full waiting room, whilst maintain safe social distancing. If you arrive early for your appointment you may be asked to wait outside or in your car. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult times whilst we ensure the safety of our staff and patients is paramount.
